The Role

We're looking for a high performing recruiting and HR Generalist. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the small details of growing and engaging our team in both Austin, TX and Newark, NJ. You are an ideal candidate if you are interested in a long-term career in either recruiting or HR. You must be hungry to learn and grow within our startup!

What you will do everyday:

  • Oversee, coordinate and execute the recruitment process
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and employee offboarding
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Develop, update and document core HR policies and processes (e.g., talent acquisition, etc.); and ensure they are clearly communicated
  • Maintain and update employee handbook
  • Ensure legal compliance and completing reporting requirements
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees and broker regarding benefits
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Prepare company-wide employee communications
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Monitor employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
  • Other HR-related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years HR administration and/or recruiting experience
  • Experience managing multiple office locations preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Office Suite
  • Results-driven and metrics-oriented
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Self-starter, comfortable with a rapidly changing office environment
  • Interested in entrepreneurial environments and want to help build something meaningful
